We all are slaves
Slaves to our very selves
Serving ‘gods’ of our own creation
Tangled up in abomination
Doing these acts give a certain satisfaction
Be it fornication or masturbation
Acts that warrant the harshest condemnation
Yet it’s the norm, the generation’s conformation
To the Christians a great test
Conforming to the world is fate
Preaching water while putting wine to taste
And the question of living chaste
There is peace in denouncing our ‘gods’
Joy even in heaven-it beats worldly odds
Glory and honor to the one true God it accords
And before men sets straight the records
Listen to the still small voice
That talks you out of your choice
It’s the only sure invoice
That’ll buy your freedom, you’ll rejoice
The voice is the Holy Spirit
He works in us our sins to convict
Warning us of acts secret
And works in us always to correct
Johnson Mwakazi’s story an inspiration
His life to many an admiration
Had to undergo an intrapersonal confrontation
For a complete and permanent transformation
Strive therefore to make a difference
In your life purity is of essence
On matters health practice temperance
And let glory be to God in reverence
