Mathew 6:14-15
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you; But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses.”
The darkness had taken root
Hatred had found ground to sprout
The pain was too much to sit
Yet I still couldn’t quit
I allowed myself to suffer
My heart was filled with anger
Whatever was love tuned bitter
I had always knew I was stronger
Ending it was not enough
I thought of the lost love
And wished to repay with much above
A heartbreak in return would serve
But then I thought of the love
Selfless unconditional agape love
That Christ left glory in heaven above
To die and save us who didn’t deserve
This ended my pain and boredom
Relieved me from anger gave me freedom
Forgiveness alone bought my freedom
Forgiveness is the ultimate freedom
Try it today, it’s freely given
Forgive and you shall be forgiven
Ask for Christ’s guidance, He is risen
For He died so we may be forgiven
Isaiah 1:18 (KJV)
“Come now, and let us reason together saith the lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.”
