Leaving our Homes to go Home

Autumn.png

Journeying through life’s sorrow

Struggling to see tomorrow

Having the faith to see the morrow

And the power and strength to borrow

From the challenges witnessed each day

And still hope that every effort will pay

On the cross of Calvary he was slain

For our sake he bore the pain

Shed his blood to wash our sinful stain

That we may have life again

Have it abundantly and eternity gain

Heavenly glory for us made certain

SEE ALSO:

He went but to prepare a place

Home where are many mansions

That where he is there may we be

Partakers of his kingdom

So here we are but sojourners

How great is His love and grace?

So hold on fast to what you have

Lest the devil snatch it from you

Brace yourself for the shaking that cometh

Seek Him while He may be found

Look for him while his grace abounds

His love endures forever

Repent therefore and sin no more

Love, forgive one another-it’s the commandments’ core

Read his word and pray even more

Be ready to meet him at eternity’s shore.
